Pearl — Business Exam Mastery

I'm Pearl — a qualified teacher and First Class Business graduate with over 10 years of classroom experience, including international teaching in the UAE and roles at schools whose results ranked in the top 1% of all UK schools during the years I worked there.

As a qualified Edexcel examiner, I know exactly what markers are looking for — and I bring that directly into every session. My approach is grounded in High Performance Learning principles: building not just subject knowledge, but the thinking skills and exam habits that turn effort into top grades. Sessions are interactive and engaging, focused on removing the guesswork so students understand precisely how to approach any question with confidence and clarity.

My students come to me with different starting points, but the goal is always the same: to make exam expectations clear, build confidence in applying knowledge, and help effort translate into stronger marks. When do classes begin?

Groups begin in the second week of September 2026.

Are HL and SL students taught separately?

Yes. HL and SL students join separate groups so teaching, question practice and exam strategy can be tailored to the precise demands of their course.

Is this suitable for my child?

These groups are for students studying Business at school or through home education who want clearer understanding, stronger exam technique and higher marks.

Groups are available for IB Business Management HL/SL students entering IB Year 2, and Edexcel GCSE/IGCSE Business students entering Year 11.

Is this suitable for students with SEND?

Yes. Resources are designed to be clear, structured and accessible, with adaptations that can support students with dyslexia. I also have experience supporting students with ADHD.

As every student's needs are different, please include any relevant information in the application form so I can confirm whether the group is the right fit and how best to support your child.

How small are the groups?

Groups are capped at a strict maximum of six students. This keeps classes focused, ensures every student can participate fully, and means Pearl knows each student personally — their strengths, gaps, and goals.

What if my child misses a session?

All sessions are recorded and uploaded to Google Classroom promptly after each class. Students can catch up on recordings and notes before the next session — no one falls behind. Consistent attendance is encouraged as sessions are progressive and build on each other.

How does payment work, and can we cancel?

Payment is collected monthly via a secure online portal on a fixed date. There are no long-term contracts. To cancel, simply give at least one week's written notice by email before your next payment date. Full details are provided on enrolment.

Do you offer one-to-one sessions?

Yes, subject to availability. One-to-one sessions start from £70 per hour and are paid in advance. Complete this form and we'll come back to you with availability.

Yes. All materials and sessions are designed with accessibility in mind — clear structure, visual layouts, and no unnecessary complexity. Please mention any additional needs when getting in touch so we can confirm the best fit.
